About the Course

This in-house format is aimed at companies introducing the wilkon.StreamingCube for training and sales purposes. Through numerous hands-on exercises, we will equip your team with practical skills and develop strategies for creating engaging live online formats with the wilkon.StreamingCube, while significantly reducing the effort required for video production. The workshop continuously integrates technical, instructional, and organisational aspects.

The exact content of this foundation workshop is developed in close coordination with you to ensure that your use cases and your team's prior experience are taken into account in the best possible way. Therefore, the following list of topics serves merely as an initial guide. In any case, we will ensure that your team is able to deliver engaging formats with the StreamingCube independently and successfully after completing this foundation workshop, without requiring further support.

How does the whole thing work?

This is a practical workshop featuring numerous hands-on exercises conducted directly on the systems – ideally at your premises. If required, the workshop can also be held at the wilkon.trainingcentre in Nuremberg with an identically configured setup. The recommended group size is approximately 6–8 participants. Group sizes of up to 12 participants are possible for teams with greater prior experience – or where not only trainers or moderators in front of the camera are being trained, but also dedicated support staff (e.g. media technicians, room coordinators, etc.). At these group sizes, we ensure that each participant has sufficient time to familiarise themselves hands-on with the entire setup, watch and support one another, and gain practical confidence. Experience shows that many creative ideas for later practical use emerge during the workshop, helping to ensure the successful introduction of the wilkon.StreamingCube within your organisation.

  • The basics of camera operation (shutter speeds, ISO, white balance, focus, etc.)

  • Which microphone for which application (headset, lavalier, etc.)
  • Audio too quiet or distorted, sound too muffled or too harsh: select the appropriate scene or preset in the wilkon.StreamingCube
  • Too much background noise: use a suitable microphone and auto-mix
  • Hands-on exercises and troubleshooting tips for all participants
