Course bookings
Add the courses you want to the shopping cart.
If you are booking for someone else, such as your employees, you can follow these steps:
- If you want to book a course for multiple employees, you can book the required number of seats together by adding the necessary quantity to the shopping cart.
- Different courses can also be included in a single booking.
Please note:
- For hybrid formats that offer both in-person and online participation, make sure to select your preferred mode of participation or the desired location, as the different options may also have price variations.
- Once you have added all the courses to the shopping cart, view the cart. Here, you can still modify the number of seats required for each course. Additionally, you should provide participant details at this step. This can be done individually for each course or seat.
When you are finished, click the Proceed to checkout button in the shopping cart. Complete your order details by entering your personal information, preferred payment, and shipping method. By clicking the Order with an obligation to pay button, you are placing a binding order.
- Use the hotline to receive detailed advice before booking a course.
- You can book directly through the hotline or request a personalized offer.
Please note that for course bookings with advance payment, we can only confirm your seat once the payment has been received. If you wish to secure your course seat, we recommend settling the course fee as soon as possible. To facilitate the advance payment, you will receive a so-called proforma invoice from us.
- You can cancel a course booking without stating a reason up to fourteen days before the start of the event. The cancellation must be made in writing. The decisive factor is the receipt by wilkon. In this case, any payments already made will be refunded.
- For cancellations received later, a flat-rate cancellation fee of 50 % of the course fee is payable.
- The cancellation fee is waived if a suitable replacement participant is named.
- Two business days (Mon. to Fri.) before the start of the respective course, cancellations are no longer possible. If a participant does not appear, the full fee is payable. Non-attendance of individual parts of the event does not entitle to a reduction of the invoice amount.
There is no right of cancellation for closed in-house trainings or courses specifically developed for a corporate client.
- For courses that last longer than six months, the contracting party has the option to terminate the agreement for the first time with a notice period of six weeks at the end of the first six months, and thereafter at the end of each subsequent three months.
- This does not apply to pure e-learning offerings.
- In these cases, the fee is prorated based on the duration of the contract.
- If the occupancy of a course does not reach the minimum number of participants stated for the course 10 days before the course starts, wilkon may cancel the event no later than 7 days before the course starts (extraordinary termination).
- Furthermore, wilkon reserves the right to cancel the course at short notice in case of the lecturer's illness, provided that there is no adequate replacement available from wilkon's own pool of trainers.
- In the event of course cancellation, it is possible to reschedule to another date without complications. If desired, a cancellation is also possible. In this case, wilkon will promptly refund any payments already made.
- Further claims by the contracting party are excluded.
Payment
- For the payment method Pay by bank wire (= "payment in advance"), after completing your order and an initial review of your order, you will receive an email with detailed payment information (proforma invoice). Please transfer the invoice amount to the specified account, indicating your order and customer number.
- Please note that for course bookings with advance payment, we can only confirm your spot once the payment has been received.
- For product deliveries with advance payment, please note that the delivery will be made only after the invoice amount has been received into our account.
When paying with PayPal, the order process generally consists of three steps:
- First, you need to enter your order details (billing address, shipping address, etc.) completely in our online shop system. To complete your order, please click the Order with an obligation to pay button.
- After clicking the Order with an obligation to pay button, you will be securely redirected to the PayPal page for payment. Log in there using your PayPal credentials. You can now proceed with the payment (e.g., using a credit card, etc.). All inputs and verifications related to your payment will be done and stored exclusively by PayPal.
- After completing the payment process, you will be redirected back to the wilkon online shop. A summary of your order will be displayed. Upon successful order and payment, you will receive confirmation emails including our terms and conditions and the PayPal transaction number.
Prices & shipment of goods
During your first visit to our online store, you have the option to select your region and indicate whether you want to order as a private customer or a business customer. Your selection will affect the display of prices, available delivery options, and the required information for order completion.
Price information for private customers residing in Germany and business customers based in Germany:

- All prices are inclusive of applicable VAT (usually 19%, except for products subject to the reduced VAT rate of 7%).
- For product deliveries, prices are exclusive of any shipping costs and cash-on-delivery fees (further information on shipping fees can be found below on this page).
- In case of so-called inhouse trainings, further travel and accommodation costs may be added. We will inform you about these additional fees for the respective venue as soon as possible after receipt of your order.
Price information for private customers residing outside of Germany:

Price information for business customers based outside of Germany:

- If you have chosen our Business Customer Shop (B2B) upon entering our store for the first time, prices are EXCLUDING the German VAT.
- For product deliveries, prices are exclusive of any shipping costs and cash-on-delivery fees (further information on shipping fees can be found below on this page).
- In case of so-called in-house trainings, further travel and accommodation costs may be added. We will inform you about these additional fees for the respective venue as soon as possible after receipt of your order.
- Requirement for applying the Reverse Charge Procedure (order without German VAT): Please note that placing an order in the Business Customer Shop for business customers based outside of Germany is only possible if you provide the necessary proof during the ordering process to apply the Reverse Charge Procedure. Therefore, it is mandatory for business customers based outside of Germany to submit relevant information (e.g., European VAT ID, Swiss VAT number, UK VAT ID, etc.). We will verify the validity of the submitted information and reserve the right to adjust or decline the order if the requirement for applying the Reverse Charge Procedure is not fulfilled. If your company based outside of Germany does not have a valid VAT number (e.g., for small businesses or startups), you can place an order in our Private Customer Shop. In this case, the German VAT will be applied.
- Delivery of goods is available only within Germany and countries of the European Union. Delivery of goods to the United Kingdom and Switzerland is excluded.
- For the shipping methods Standard (DE) or Standard (international), delivery will be arranged at our discretion through DHL, UPS, GLS, HERMES, or another carrier of our choice.
- Please note that delivery to a DHL Packstation cannot be guaranteed.
- If we have your email address, you will typically receive a shipping confirmation by email once the package has been handed over to the carrier. If possible, the email will include a package tracking code, allowing you to track your delivery directly with the carrier.
- Please note: The transmission of the shipping confirmation, including the tracking code, is done manually by our staff during order processing. During peak order volumes, it may not always be possible to provide you with this shipping information in a timely manner before receiving the goods. We apologize for any inconvenience caused.

On the product detail page, you can see the availability status to determine if there are still seats available in a course (available / free seats or Only a few left) or if the course/product is no longer available or deliverable.

Further information about the process or access details to online learning environments are typically provided in the week before the first event day. For last-minute course bookings (e.g., the day before the event), we make every effort to process them quickly so that you can participate in the event. As long as an event is still bookable in our shop system, you can expect to receive timely additional information regarding participation or any necessary access details. If, in the case of last-minute bookings, you do not receive further information in a timely manner, please contact our telephone course hotline. |
Online Delivery e.g., for pure e-learning offerings | As long as the respective e-learning offerings or digital products are available, your booking/order will typically be processed within 2-3 business days, unless otherwise stated on the product detail page. Please note that for prepayment as a payment method, access details for corresponding e-learning offerings will only be sent after receipt of your payment. |
Product Delivery within Germany | If the products are available, delivery within Germany usually takes place within 3-5 business days. Further details
You can place orders in our online store without creating a permanent customer account. However, creating a customer account brings you several benefits:
- For repeated orders in our online store, you save yourself the hassle of entering your contact information again.
- In the customer account, you can also access your previous orders and the corresponding order documents (proforma invoices, invoice duplicates, and duplicate invoice corrections).
- With vouchers and discount promotions, we want to reward our loyal customers. Benefit from them by creating a customer account.
